I recently faced a significant challenge in a key partnership. We had a major project underway, and due to a series of miscommunications and unmet expectations, the relationship began to deteriorate. Trust eroded, and the project was at risk of failing.

I realized that I hadn’t been proactive enough in building and nurturing the relationship. I had focused too much on the project deliverables and not enough on the partnership itself. This experience taught me the importance of open and honest communication, active listening, and empathy. I learned that a strong partnership is built on trust, respect, and mutual benefit.

Moving forward, I’ve committed to strengthening my partnership management skills. I’m prioritizing regular check-ins, transparent communication, and proactively addressing issues. By investing time and effort into building strong relationships, I believe we can achieve greater success together.

It was tough, but it taught me a valuable lesson. Remember, “Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new.

Manual Testing: A Human-Driven Approach to Software Quality Assurance

For those of you Interested in Non Tech roles, you may be interested in Manual Testing:

What is Manual Testing:

Manual testing is a crucial aspect of software development, involving a human tester interacting directly with the software to identify defects or issues. Unlike automated testing, which relies on scripts and tools, manual testing leverages human judgment and experience.

Key Characteristics of Manual Testing:

Human intervention: Testers use their senses and intuition to assess the software's behavior.

Exploratory nature: Testers often discover defects through trial and error, creativity, and a deep understanding of the software.
Flexibility: Manual testing can adapt to changing requirements or unexpected issues.

Complementary to automation: Manual testing can be used in conjunction with automated testing for a comprehensive approach.

Is Manual Testing a Tech Role?

While manual testing doesn't require extensive coding skills, it does involve technical knowledge and understanding of software development concepts.

Testers need to:
Understand requirements: Clearly grasp the expected behavior and functionality of the software.

Create test cases: Design test scenarios to cover various use cases and edge cases.

Execute tests: Interact with the software to identify defects and document results.

Analyze results: Evaluate test outcomes and report defects to developers.

Use testing tools: Employ tools for test case management, defect tracking, and reporting.

We have forgotten that we are only Human and that mistakes are inevitable in our never-ending quest to complete tasks and arrange things perfectly.

Beautiful imperfect beings thriving so hard to be perfect.

What do you do when you do not feel like you have accomplished enough?

When you feel as though you have stumbled into a ditch you made for yourself or made a careless mistake that is incredibly unlike you, what do you do?

Days when you think nothing you do matter. Things don't have to be perfect to be good you know.

Give yourself some Grace; you are better today than you were yesterday.

We cannot expect ourselves to develop to the fullest extent possible if we are unable to extend Grace to ourselves during times of transition.

To the majestic month, August!🥂🥳

There is a claim that as more AI-powered tools become available, work loads tend to decrease and productivity increases.

But regrettably, some of the most recent technological advancements intended to advance humankind have instead weakened the essential notion that drives human creativity.

It goes without saying, but do you believe AI has truly succeeded in helping humans, or has it completely failed us?
