Top tips for a strong hook design
1 📲 Safe zones: when posting videos you will always have social media interface and cta messages popping up, if you do not center yourself, the b roll and the main titles/captions in the right position.. your message will be lost
2 🤳 Shooting angles: front camera is used by everyone, top angle views and wide-angle are working well these days. Make sure to have fun move the camera, go selfie video or walk when talking, do something different go for inspo
3 🎧 Sound effects: my favorite ones to grab attention are notifications bells, and whoosh audio effects from sec 1 always work and feels organic
4 😎 Cool opening titles: should feel different, look for inspo, change sizes, use shadows, add background, stroke, color and test new fonts (only for the hook and CTA to highlight beginning and ending from the body)
5 ⏳ Length: keep duration between 3-5 secs, remember hooks are just for attention, stop scrolling, feeling curious, laugh
6 🧐 Assets: combine A-Roll and B-Roll, feel free to use cool assets like gif, emojis, split camera to showcase 2 things at the same time
Creating videos should be about having fun, internet is full of many people duplicating and creating a lot of scripts they wont even understand with AI, so make sure you are adding your own style and unexpected ideas to it
