How long the time has passed that you can realize the changes?

Shanghai – one of the biggest financial centers in the world, has witnessed not only the rapid development of China’s economy but also the instant changes in Chinese culture.

“Everything has changed so fast that I’m started missing them.”

To recall the past, Shanghai-based designer, Chen Xi Wang (王晨曦 - the 20th Madness Talk collaborator) started her new visual storytelling project “20 TimeSpace” in January 2018 that uses illustrations to record the changing times, narrative her memories of different cultural phenomena in the past 20 years.

“ 20TimeSpace is a storage room of memory in this space-time. The space-time in people's mind is free, and the space-time in the real world is constantly developing. When the past meets the present, various possibilities are occurring.”

What do you usually do when you're traveling?😁😁😁

Zhifang-shi, a Shanghai-based watercolor artist who travels around and using the impressive skills to sketch the beauty of traditional towns. 😍😍😍

These beautiful watercolor sketch paintings are not only works of art, but also an artistic way to document historic areas that may not exist for much longer.

According to a report of the UN Environment Programme (UNEP):
“Approximately 7 million people worldwide die prematurely each year from air pollution, with about 4 million of these deaths occurring in Asia-Pacific.” 🙀🙀🙀

Today, June 5 is World Environment Day, an annual event organized by UNEP. This time, China will host the event on the theme “Air Pollution” in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. 😁😁

SHMADNESS found a meaningful story - a story of a famous Brazilian photographer and his wife that spent 20 years to reforest 129 million hectares of land, which really inspired and a concrete example of positive ecological action. 🤩🤩👏👏👏

What is Street Art to you?😉😉😉

Despite all the debates in conceptualize the definition between street arts and public arts, legal stuffs or confusing debates, street art in general, in original, in simple, are pieces of art that you will see in public places (could be demolished places or crowded cities) by people who want to express themselves (generally be called artists whether they want it or not😁). And more important, street artworks are all see-worthy.

But what happened if those pieces of street art might disappear tomorrow? Thanks to the bloggers who always look out and document the new street art creation showing up in their hometown. We, as the audience, can enjoy all the unique artworks without missing one.
