Feng Gong - Sound Bath

Striking a mallet on the gong produces a sound that can be linked to the creation of the universe. The cumulative vibrations emitted imperceptibly agitate all the body’s liquids (80 % of the human body), such as blood, lymph, humours, interstitial fluid etc., until they are de crystallized.

While lying down for the duration of the bath, we recommend not having any expectations or intentions as to the effects one might wish to achieve from the sound bath. The idea is to let the body react to the vibrations of the Feng gong and their mind disconnect from the environment.

Vincent completed a 50 hour course in Paris with Navjeet Singh - taught by Yogi Bhajan.

——

Feng Gong - Bain Sonore

The Five Tibetan Rites are a series of five special movements that are gradually increased, until you are doing twenty one repetitions of each.

The first posture is a spinning movement. The remaining four are similar to other yoga movements.

The sequence is more like a smooth, almost dance-like flowing routine, that is highly pleasurable to perform.

Chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning ‘wheel’ or ‘vortex’. The chakras act like an electricity transformer, receiving and regulating life energy and transmitting it throughout the body. The Five Tibetan Rites may seem deceptively simple, but they are very powerful – like flicking the energy switches in the body to ON.

The Five Tibetan Rites are said to normalise hormonal imbalances in the body, thereby holding the key to lasting youth, health, and vitality.

——

Pranayama is the Ayurvedic practice of breath regulation.

In Sanskrit, “prana” means life energy, and “Yama” means control.

You control the timing, duration, and frequency of every breath by an intentional inhale, exhale, and by holding y/our breath in a specific sequence. The goal is to connect both body and mind.

In yoga, pranayama is used alongside other practices like physical postures (asanas) and meditation (dhyana). Together, these practices are responsible for the many benefits of yoga.

——
