Good People helps families recruit trusted, reliable workers faster and cheaper than any other recru

Hiring through a regulated agency gives you peace of mind and protects the person you’re welcoming into your home. 💁‍♀️

At Good People, we handle the vetting, contracts, and ongoing support, so nothing gets overlooked, and both sides feel confident from day one!

It’s a smoother, safer way to hire for everyone involved. ✅

If you’re constantly rushing, snapping at small things, or using your weekends to “catch up,” you might not need a bigger calendar; you might need a second set of hands.👀

Part-time housekeepers and assistants can completely change the rhythm of a home, taking pressure off parents and freeing up precious time for the things (and people) who matter most.

Could extra support bring some breathing room back into your week? 💬

Welcoming a new carer into your parents’ life isn’t always easy, especially if they’re feeling vulnerable or unsure.

The key? Start small.
Consistency matters more than big gestures. Build trust through shared daily routines, warm introductions, and a clear sense of what to expect for everyone involved.

When families take the time to ease the transition, care becomes less transactional… and far more meaningful. 💚

A great housekeeper brings skill, care and consistency, but even the best can’t know your home’s rhythm right away.

We often see the same gap: expectations aren’t clearly shared, and good working relationships suffer as a result.

At Good People, we support families in setting clear, kind foundations from the start! 💙

An interview isn’t just about evaluating a nanny or housekeeper; it’s also your opportunity to attract the right person!🙏

Top candidates are often considering multiple families. That’s why we encourage parents to treat interviews as a two-way conversation, one where clarity, warmth, and respect make all the difference.

We guide families through the process so everyone feels confident from the first meeting.

Babies need calm. Toddlers need energy. Teens need trust.

One role, three very different stages, and each calls for a different kind of care!💁‍♀️

Whether it’s nap schedules, noisy playrooms or navigating teenage moods, the right match isn’t just about experience. It’s about knowing how to meet a child where they are.

25/07/2025

Starting with a handover sheet is helpful, but it’s not what builds trust. ✨

The first week sets the tone for everything that follows. It’s the way you welcome someone into your home, show what matters to your family, and create space for questions, not just instructions.

At Good People, we guide families through those early days so both sides feel supported from the start.

Sometimes, the support a carer offers goes far beyond the person they’re there for.

It’s the way they keep things calm during a hard moment.
The gentle check-ins that reassure family members.
The relief of knowing someone is truly present.

When families hire through Good People, we look for that rare mix of professionalism and heart. 💚

Writing a reference letter? Keep it clear, honest and helpful.

A great nanny, housekeeper or carer can make a huge difference to a family, and your words can help them find their next trusted role.

Include the role, responsibilities, standout qualities and whether you’d hire them again. That simple line means more than you think!

When you’re hiring household staff for the first time, there’s a lot to think about. But a few key decisions upfront can prevent misunderstandings down the line.

✔️ Live-in or live-out?
✔️ Role Clarity
✔️ Communication Habits

At Good People, we guide you through these choices and help you create a structured, respectful working relationship from day one.
