🤝 Help them come prepared: Before their start date, alleviate new hire jitters by sending a friendly email a week prior, providing essential details like arrival time, meeting location, first-day greeter, schedule, company culture, dress code, upcoming team-building plans, and relevant reading material to reaffirm their inclusion in the company.

🤝 Have their desk space and IT ready: Ensure a welcoming environment for recruits by cleaning and organising their desk space, setting up their IT equipment, erasing any signs of previous occupants, and adding a personal touch like a welcome card to make them feel at home, especially if their direct manager won't be there to greet them on their first morning.
