WE’RE HIRING: EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST
Employment Solutions | Oxford County, Ontario

•Full-time • 37.5 hours per week
•44,000–$48,000 annually
•Paid mileage for eligible business travel

Support people overcome barriers and build meaningful careers. For 23 years, Employment Solutions has supported people with disabilities and barriers to employment. What makes us different? We bring employment services directly to clients in their communities, reducing transportation and accessibility barriers.

We’re looking for an experienced employment professional who combines compassionate, individualized support with strong job development and employer outreach skills.

In this role, you will:
• Help clients identify goals, address barriers, prepare for work, and maintain employment.
• Proactively contact and visit employers to create employment opportunities and support inclusive hiring.
• Collaborate with our on-site Job Coach and community partners.
• Maintain accurate, confidential case records and work toward meaningful employment outcomes.
•Main work location in Woodstock but
Must be willing to travel throughout Oxford county to meet job seekers.

You’ll bring:
• Experience in employment services, case management, social services, disability services, or related work. Related post-secondary education is an asset.
• Demonstrated success in job development and confidence with cold calls and employer visits.
• Strong communication, organization, professional boundaries, and the ability to work independently.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft 365 and Adobe. CaMS and Wedata experience is an asset; training is available.
• A valid Ontario G licence, clean driving record, reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel and transport clients when required.
• A successful Vulnerable Sector Check.

Enjoy a hybrid community/work-from-home role, with flexibility to build your schedule within our Monday–Friday, 8:30–4:30 operating hours. Some work outside these hours is required for events and client job coaching. We offer ongoing training, a supportive team, and room to grow.

The crew here at Attic Books is looking for a new member. If you don’t know about us, Attic Books is a large second-hand bookstore run by a team of friendly, reliable, kind and hardworking people, located at the heart of London, Ontario in the Downtown core.

The position would be part time (2-3 days per week), with the possibility of more days depending on schedules. One shift will be for a Saturday, the other days can be more flexible. Currently we are open Monday to Saturday, 10 am-5 pm. We offer a workplace that has reciprocal respect and loyalty, an intellectually stimulating work environment, predictable schedule and of course, access to great books.
