The Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler is looking for a Steward who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do.
The Steward reports to the Stewarding Manager. We are looking for an energetic, hospitality professional with excellent interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, have a passion for service and people, and ideally past cleaning or entry level kitchen experience. Applicants will be a willing team player, comfortable with standards of service, and will be willing to accept assignments on as need basis, in order to promote team work. Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
The Steward is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all kitchen equipment. This includes china, glass, and silver wear from the restaurant and kitchen areas. You will be required to clean and sanitize all pots, pans, and kitchen utensils using the correct cleaning and rinsing solutions, safely set-up clean and utilize the silver brushing machine, and properly sort and transport all clean items once complete.
