Education:

Compensations: $70K-75K (DOE) plus benefits (after the 3 month probation period) and performance based bonus

Main Job duties:
- Perform daily treasury activities in a well-coordinated, timely, accurate manner.
- Proactive planning and managing to ensure efficient cash management while maintaining adequate records and document control.
- In support of the larger Finance & Accounting team, perform basic tax and accounting work as required.
- Payment: Prepare necessary documentation for internal/external payments and maintain all data.
- Cash management: Prepare daily cashbook. Advise, plan and execute cash transfers. Prepare required documentation and the monthly reconciliation.
- Basic tax works: File GST/HST returns, prepare necessary payments, coordinate with CRA.
- Accounting support: Oversee monthly expense reimbursements, reconcile credit cards transactions, AP/AR.
- Other duties as required.

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Accounting or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years’ previous experience in a treasury role (payables and cash management).
- Well-developed interpersonal skills – work well both independently and as a team member.
- Previous experience with online banking system. (e.g. RBC Express, ACH payment) preferred.
- Working knowledge of general accounting principles, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable.
- Proficient using Microsoft Excel (spreadsheets, formulas, etc.), Word, and PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook and Adobe applications.
- Qbyte &/or SAP Concur software experience considered an asset.
- Understanding of basic accounting software. Ability to troubleshoot and find solutions to day-to-day problems that may arise.
