Executive Housekeeper
Full-time-Permanent-Live-in or out

Danielle’s Placement Agency has been hired to help a beautiful family of 3, soon to be four hire their first nanny and housekeeper. They are looking for an experienced, energetic, nanny-housekeeper specialist to be an extension to the mother. The family just moved into a new home and the mother needs support preparing the home for the arrival of the new baby. The oldest daughter is 15 months old and new baby due end of January. The right candidate will be responsible to create a safe, nurturing environment for the children. Other responsibilities include: Detailed cleaning of the residence, keeping the residence tidy and organized, full laundry cycle and bed preparation, managing household product inventory and shopping lists, running of errands and grocery shopping, assist in meal preparation, reheating food, plating, and serving meals, drive children to and from activities, and classes, trash and recycling management
-Other duties may be required
Children
- Must have newborn experience
- Provide all aspects of childcare for the children when parents are not around, including being comfortable with a newborn while 15 month old and mom are out of the home
- Organize and participate in various leisure activities at home and outdoor.
- Stimulate/promote a healthy and active lifestyle.
- Model and promote healthy social-emotional behavior, encouraging children to be self-aware.
- Provide developmentally appropriate educational games.
- Organize arts & crafts, indoor games, etc.
- Take children to parks and playgrounds, library etc.
- Assistance putting down for naps and giving bottles.
- Help children with general hygiene.
- Teach good manners and appropriate social behaviors.
• Promote children's initiatives and encourage them to do things themselves.
Cooking
- Plan, prepare and offer snacks.
• Wash and sanitize bottles and pumps.
• Prepare bottles for newborn when needed.
• Prepare breakfast and lunch when needed.
Cleaning
-Tidying of the house and putting items away, as needed.
-Organizing the children's environment, as needed.
Requirements
- Must love children.
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience working full-time in a family with similar responsibilities.
- Have a keen sense of initiative.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to travel an asset but not required (family has another home)
- Ability to work under minimal direction.
- Flexibility to work outside of strict job description parameters.
• Flexibility in the working hours, according to the employer's needs.
• Flexibility working alongside mother, father and occasionally grandparents in the home.
-Exceptional organizational skills and attention to details.
-Energetic with a strong work ethic.
-Excellent communication skills.
-Ability to anticipate the needs of the children.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Always keep a professional demeanor, respect and protect the right to privacy of the household by keeping all information confidential.
- Must have a current legal working status in Canada.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
- Children First Aid and CPR certified, and up to date.
- Must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19.
Additional Information
- Workdays: Monday to Friday (flexibility required). Minimum 3 days a week -5 days per week
- Work hours: 7:45am-3:45pm. (flexibility required).

Salary
-Very competitive, according to experience 25-30$ per hour
