An exciting opportunity for Urban Studies undergrads is coming up on March 26th! Take the opportunity to sit in on graduate-level course in the MScPl program. This course, PLA 1702: Pedestrians, Streets, and Public Space, is instructed by the distinguished Dr. Paul Hess.

Self-nominations for the URSSU 2026/2027 Exec Team elections are now open. Run for your desired position by filling out the form linked in bio! Election information, including the role responsibilities are also available in a document format, also linked in our bio.

Whether you are planning on running for a position, or if you are simply voting, keep the following timeline in mind:

Nomination Form due March 25th @ 11:59pm

Voting Begins March 30th @ 8:00am and ends April 2nd @ 11:59pm

We have several times open for all urban studies students to come and chat with our execs on a drop-in basis. No need to register or bring anything, just come and chat/have snacks! Open to all students in urban studies 💟

Interested in gaining hands on at a local nonprofit or grassroots organization? Check out the Seeds of Change program from the Centre of Community Partnerships!

“Seeds of Change connects you with volunteer opportunities at a local nonprofit or grassroots organization that addresses food security or food justice issues. Learn from community experts, reflect on your learning, and meet other students interested in food security.
This program not only supports food initiatives in our communities but will also allow you to:
* Learn about issues in Toronto’s food systems and how organizations are supporting food access in the city
* Develop your reflective practice and deepen your understanding of yourself
* Make connections with local experts in the field of food justice
* Gain valuable experience in a field that interests you and explore careers in the community.”
