MONTREAL: Hiring a Oracle Database Administrator with an educational institution to be based in Montreal for a 18-month contract. (French is nice to have but not a must)

Working under the supervision of the manager, the DBA will be responsible for the implementation of the mid-tier and database layers for central IT and in collaboration with multiple project teams, the Database Administrator will participate in both projects and perform tasks related to ongoing operations.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
Oracle database administration (3 to 5 years’ experience as a DBA)
Knowledge of Oracle DB 10g, 11g and 12c are mandatory
Knowledge or Oracle DB 19c will be considered an asset
Knowledge of clustered environment is mandatory
MySQL database administration (minimum 2 years’ experience as a DBA)
Knowledge of MySQL 5 and 8 are mandatory
Complex multitiered environments (web server, application server, connectivity to database servers)
Linux/Unix OS knowledge is mandatory
SQLServer database administration (optional)
