What you'll own:
📐 Reviewing drawings, specs & tender documents to prepare detailed, competitive cost estimates
💰 Full pricing strategy — labour, material, equipment & subcontractor costs
💡 Identifying risks, opportunities & value-engineering solutions during the estimating process
📋 Preparing accurate proposals, tenders & bid submissions
🔄 Supporting Project Managers on change orders, scope reviews & project handoffs
🏗️ Developing conceptual and Design-Build estimates for negotiated & alternative delivery projects
📊 Soliciting and evaluating supplier, subcontractor & vendor quotations
📈 Maintaining estimating databases, pricing records & historical project data

What you bring:
✔️ 10+ years of estimating experience in commercial electrical construction
✔️ Proven track record on large-scale electrical projects
✔️ Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, labour productivity & procurement
✔️ Experience with Design-Build and conceptual estimating
✔️ Proficiency with Accubid, ACCEO & Excel — these are the tools, not the aspiration
✔️ Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills
✔️ Ability to manage multiple bids under tight deadlines without losing accuracy
✔️ Bilingual (French/English) is a significant asset for the Montreal market

What you'll own:
⚡ Configuring and building the spacecraft electrical power system for each project
🔭 Interfacing with systems engineers to capture and translate requirements into hardware
