Labour Education Centre - Employment Services

LEC Employment Services provides job search and placement assistance in the Don Mills area of Toronto for both job seekers and employers.

Our programs offer a range of services to help people find and keep good jobs, including employment counselling, job search, adult literacy and basic skills, employment support and pre-apprenticeship. We are funded by Employment Ontario (Ontario Ministry of Advanced Education & Skills Development-MAESD).

Today marks the 30th anniversary of National Indigenous Peoples Day, a time to honour and celebrate the rich cultures and meaningful contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. We honour those who carry the joy of their cultures and traditions forward, inspiring others in their communities and beyond.

Here at LEC, across Ontario, and throughout Canada, we celebrate Indigenous Elders, Knowledge Keepers, students, educators, workers, artists, leaders, innovators, community advocates, and all those who bring pride to communities across the country.

Together, let's take today to recognize, reflect, and renew our commitment to uplift Indigenous Peoples everywhere.
