Have you come across job postings that clearly outline their salary ranges? It is becoming a more common practice with employers lately.

For job seekers, this is a plus. They can see what the employer is hoping to pay and if it is lower than the job seeker's expectations, they can pass on the role. However, it has started to hurt employers.

A recent survey has found that 14% of companies are losing employees due to the pay transparency laws passed in the US. Employees are seeing higher salaries for roles similar to theirs and are leaving their jobs in hopes of finding a new role with higher pay.

Remote work has always presented some challenges. However, these challenges were not the type that businesses could not overcome.

In fact, during the pandemic, when we were forced to work remotely, we were able to prove that it was possible to move forward as employees, employers, and businesses, despite not physically being in the office.

However, it has been noted that working remotely can reduce innovation within teams. Not being able to physically work together has reduced the ability to come up with breakthrough ideas for some companies.

But it is important to keep in mind that this is not something that should be considered a deal breaker for companies. If your company wants to continue working a hybrid or remote model, you may want to look into this article by Forbes that looks into how to increase innovation while working remotely.
