Wow, Strathroy! 💙 Thank you to Hustle & Heart 105.7 myFM and the many volunteers, businesses, and community members who donated to last week's food drive.

Your generosity resulted in an incredible donation of food for our emergency food bank, helping us support local youth when they need it most. Every item donated represents a young person who will have access to nutritious food and one less barrier standing in their way.

We're so grateful to be part of a community that continues to show up. Thank you for making a difference! 🙌

Youth can connect with housing services, access the emergency food bank, pick up hygiene products and other essentials, use computers and phones, and get connected to community programs and counselling services.

Visit us at the Downtown Strathroy Markett this Saturday, August 1 from 4–10 PM to shop local and enjoy a summer evening filled with local shopping, fun, and entertainment!

We'll be selling lots of our social enterprise goodies, from our small-batch Mushed by YOU preserves to our beautifully handcrafted wood products, all made right in London by our youth trainees under the guidance of expert mentors.

Our emergency food bank shelves are looking a little bare, and we could use your help.

Donations of our most-needed items can be dropped off at 32 Front Street West, Strathroy, Monday-Friday between 9am and 4:30pm.

Every item donated helps ensure local youth have access to nutritious food and essential supports when they need them most. Thank you for helping us care for our community, we couldn't do it without your generous support.

We’ll be hosting an offsite All Staff Learning & Appreciation Day, so some of our sites will be closed and others will have reduced services available for the day:

Youth Employment Services (at Joan’s Place) – Open 8:30am-5pm to support with immediate needs, no walk-in appointments will be available.
YOU Strathroy – Closed
Youth Action Centre – Closed (meals still available, will be provided by security)
Youth Wellness Hub – Closed
YOU Made It Café (Downtown and YMCA Centre Branch) – Closed
YOU Made It Woodshop – Closed
Community Youth Hub and Youth Shelter – Open

Members of our Strathroy team, Emplyment team, and Community Engagement team were pleased to attend the CMHA Thames Valley Addiction & Mental Health Services Inter-Agency Luncheon yesterday.

It was a great afternoon of connection, education, and collaboration between so many great organizations across London and Middlesex county. We're proud to be part of such a strong network of supports for our community!

Strathroy, we truly can't thank you enough. So many individuals, groups, and businesses came forward to support our emergency food bank and stepped up in a way only this community can.

Our friends from Strathroy Rotary Club kicked things off last week with a generous donation, setting the tone for what became an incredible outpouring of support.

Massive thanks to Hustle & Heart 105.7 myFM for organizing Monday's drive, the team at Real Canadian Superstore for hosting, and many others who donated time and trucks to make this happen - Kyis Embroidery, Corbel Renovation Company, CSN - High Street, and McLeod Water Wells Ltd.
