Living with the after-effects of Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG) can be especially complex for neurodivergent parents.

Sensory sensitivities, emotional processing, and executive functioning challenges can all shape how recovery feels—and how we parent after HG.

This informal virtual meetup offers a supportive, understanding space to connect with others who identify as neurodivergent and have experienced HG. Whether you’re newly postpartum or years into recovery, you’re welcome to join us to share your experiences, explore coping strategies, or simply listen—there’s no pressure to talk.

As part of our Autism Symposium on October 25, 2026, we want to hear directly from autistic individuals in our community!

We are inviting autistic individuals to create a poster around the theme:

“What Helped Me Grow as an Autistic Person?”

We want to hear about the people, experiences, supports, opportunities, environments, or other things that have made a positive difference in your life and helped you grow.

Your poster can include words, drawings, pictures, or anything else that helps tell your story. We have also created some examples and templates to help you get started, or you can create something completely your own!

Submitted posters will be brought together in a special Autistic Voices slideshow to be shared at our 2026 Autism Symposium.

We want this presentation to centre autistic voices and highlight, in your own words and creativity, what has truly made a difference.

Please see the information sheet, examples, and templates attached for details on how to participate and submit your poster.

Huge shout out to Churchill Park Music Festival and InclusionNL for adding a Sensory Support tent to the many accessible features available to staff, volunteers, and concert goers.

Long festival days are super fun but can also feel busy and overstimulating. Having a space to take a break to regulate and recharge can help keep volunteers and staff feeling chill and ensure all concert goers are able to enjoy the full day of fun!

If you are an employer and would like to avail of toolkits designed to make it easy to take simple steps to make your workplace more Neuro-Inclusive - please connect with us directly or visit www.autismatwork.ca

We’re back at Atlanti-Con Science Fiction Festival today providing information about our program in a sensory friendly space on the third floor of the Corner Brook Civic Center.

At 11am our Dragon of an Employment Engagement Specialist will be hosting a conversation ‘Side Quests and Career Paths’. This is intended to be a real conversation about neurodivergence and employment. Join us in the panel room (off of the games room) to be a part of the conversation.

(Running late? Can’t sit for the full hour? Don’t be afraid to come in and out all throughout the conversation. We like to keep things fluid and won’t mind at all)
