As Agri-Environmental Program Lead, you will guide the delivery and modernization of the Environmental Farm Plan Program, which helps New Brunswick farmers identify environmental risks and make practical improvements.

In this role, you will help farmers use a digital self-evaluation tool to identify practical improvements. You will also maintain the tool, analyze anonymized data, and collaborate with industry and government stakeholders to improve program delivery and participation.

National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

September 30 is a day to honour the children who never returned home, Survivors of residential schools, and the families and communities who continue to be impacted by their legacy.

It is also a day to listen, learn, and reflect.

Reconciliation is not something that happens in a single day. It is an ongoing commitment to understanding our shared history, listening to Indigenous voices and perspectives, and considering the actions each of us can take moving forward.

For those looking for ways to recognize the day, we’ve gathered a few opportunities happening in and around Saskatoon, along with resources to continue learning.

• National Day for Truth and Reconciliation Gathering at Wanuskewin Heritage Park, September 30, with cultural programming, speakers, community art, traditional activities, and opportunities for learning and reflection.

• Saskatoon Tribal Council Every Child Matters Powwow, September 29 & 30.

Cheers to 15 Years!

We recently had the opportunity to celebrate 15 years of Essence with so many of the people who have been part of our journey, and we are still feeling incredibly grateful.

To everyone who joined us for the celebration, sent flowers, shared a message or well wishes, or simply took a moment to celebrate this milestone with us, thank you. It truly meant a lot.

When we look back over the past 15 years, what stands out most are the people. Our team, clients, candidates, partners, friends, and community have all played a part in shaping Essence into what it is today.

There have been successes, challenges, lessons learned, and plenty of growth along the way. And through it all, we’ve stayed focused on what has always mattered most to us: people, relationships, and making a meaningful impact.

The role will translate strategic direction into measurable priorities while ensuring operational excellence, financial sustainability, accountability, and exceptional service delivery.

You will help shape Providence’s next chapter while building on its mission and community presence. Working with the Board, CEO and executive team, you will strengthen organizational performance, guide strategy, support effective governance and ensure programs respond to the needs of children and families.
