Planning for life after graduation can feel overwhelming. At Okanagan College’s Stress Buster Event, our WorkBC Salmon Arm team connected with students to talk about their career goals and the support available as they prepare for their next steps.

Alongside organizations offering mental health resources, stress-relief activities, and community connections, we shared how career exploration and job search support can help make career planning more manageable.

Students also tested their employment knowledge and had a chance to win prizes with our Spin-to-Win wheel.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to share their questions and goals.

Salmon Arm is turning pink, and we are proud to be part of it!

From October 1 – 15, WorkBC Salmon Arm is taking part in Dress the Town Pink, joining local businesses and community members in showing our support for breast cancer awareness.

We all know someone whose life has been touched by breast cancer, whether it’s a mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, friend or neighbour. By turning the town pink, we’re coming together to show our support, raise awareness and remind those impacted that their community stands with them.
