Last week, the Employment Services Elgin (ESE) team spent a day together at Boler Mountain's Treetop Adventure Park for a day focused on team building and personal development.

It was a fantastic opportunity to step away from our desks, and recognize the hard work, dedication, and amazing teamwork that make all of our accomplishments possible. From navigating the high ropes and flying down the zip lines to cheering each other on from the canopy, our team showed incredible support and spirit every step of the way.

After conquering the courses, we wrapped up our adventurous day by winding down and connecting over a delicious lunch together.

At ESE, we believe that taking a moment to challenge ourselves and share a meal together is just as important as the work we do every day. Swipe through to see some smiles, bravery, and high-flying fun from our day in the trees!

We are so grateful for our amazing staff and the positive culture they bring to the workplace. Here’s to reaching new heights together!

After receiving nominations from the community, Employment Services Elgin (ESE) and the Ignite Youth Centre have both been selected as Top 3 finalists in the 2026 myFM Spirit Awards under various categories.

This recognition is a direct reflection of the incredible work, dedication, and passion shown by our staff, volunteers, board members, partners, and supporters every day. We are honored that our community has recognized the impact of our efforts to support youth, families, job seekers, and residents throughout St. Thomas and Elgin County.

Voting is now open, and we would greatly appreciate your support in helping us bring home a Spirit Award!

Voting is NOW CLOSED, and we are reviewing all votes that came in for all 50 categories.

Please join us on Friday, November 6th, as we celebrate the outstanding nominees and winners of this year's 2026 Spirit Awards!
