We are thrilled to share that Jobseeker Recruit Ltd has been recognized with the NEC Engagement Award at today’s YMCA of Southwestern New Brunswick Newcomer Employment Champion (NEC) Awards event.

This recognition is deeply personal for our leadership team. Our Director, D**g Li, started this journey as a newcomer himself, and our Office Manager, Stefanie McHugh, has been by his side since the very beginning.

Together, they have built a mission-driven company focused on one goal: connecting local employers with exceptional talent while helping individuals navigate the job market to build careers that are both meaningful and impactful.

Navigating the NB SEED Program 2026 📈

The Student Employment Experience Development (SEED) program is a vital driver for New Brunswick’s summer economy. It provides a strategic bridge between ambitious students and organizations looking to complete high-impact projects.

Program Eligibility & Benefits

For Students: NB residents enrolled full-time (Grade 12, University, or College) and returning to studies in the Fall are eligible for 12 weeks of career-related experience.

For Employers: Approved Non-profits, Municipalities, and Indigenous Communities receive 100% wage subsidies to mentor local talent and complete essential summer initiatives.

Application Timeline

Employers: Funding approval notifications will be issued via email between March 2nd and March 27th. Once approved, your role will be added to the official provincial directory.

Students: The 2026 Employer Directory launches this Monday, March 2nd. Search the directory at NBSEED.ca and apply directly to the organizations that align with your field of study.
