Location: Lhtako Dene Nation (Quesnel, BC)
Position Type: Part-Time
Primary Schedule: Weekends
Additional Hours: Thursday, Friday, and on-call shifts as needed
Wage: $21.00 per hour

Position Overview:

Lhtako Gas & Convenience Store is looking for a reliable and motivated Part-Time Cashier to join our team. This position is primarily for weekends, with additional shifts potentially available on Thursdays, Fridays, and on-call coverage when needed.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, is dependable, and can work well in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities:

Greeting and assisting customers
Operating the cash register and processing payments
Stocking shelves, coolers, and merchandise
Maintaining cleanliness of the store and work areas
Following store procedures and safety standards

Qualifications:

Must be 19 years of age or older
Strong customer service and communication skills
Reliable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Cash handling or retail experience is an asset, but willing to train the right candidate
Must be available for weekend shifts
