Temporary Trail Building Labourer

Nazko Natural Infrastructure Project

Frisby Excavation Inc. is looking to hire 1 temporary labourer to assist with the Nazko Natural Infrastructure Project.

Tentative Start Date: September 28, 2026
Duration: Approximately 7–10 days
Wage: $25.00/hour
Location: Nazko Community
Training: Training can be provided

Job Duties

The successful applicant will assist with trail construction and related work, including:

Shovelling and raking

Assisting with trail building and site preparation

Marking trail layouts and path edges

Spotting for trucks and deliveries

Assisting the contractor with other trail-building tasks as required

Who We’re Looking For

Applicants should:

Be comfortable performing physical outdoor work

Be prepared to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions

Be dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to work as part of a team

Be able to follow instructions and work safely around trucks, equipment, and active work areas

Previous trail-building experience is not required — training can be provided.

Silhouette Silviculture Ltd. is looking to hire 1–2 temporary labourers to assist with the Nazko Natural Infrastructure Project.

📅 Start Date: September 21, 2026
⏱ Duration: Approximately 4 weeks during September & October
💰 Wage: $30.00/hour
📍 Location: Nazko Community
🌱 Training: Training can be provided

Job Duties

Successful applicants will assist with:

Preparing planting areas prior to tree planting

Assisting community members with planting seedlings during the Community Planting Event

Planting trees in various areas throughout the Nazko community

Completing other related site preparation and planting duties as required

Who We’re Looking For

Applicants should:

Be comfortable performing physical outdoor work

Be prepared to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions

Be dependable and willing to work as part of a team

Have an interest in contributing to a project that supports the Nazko community and local environment

No previous tree planting experience is required — training can be provided.
