Hi, I’m Courtney!

I am an Employer Liaison/Job Coach at the YMCA Employment Services!
I work one-on-one with job seekers, helping connect them with great local employers in our community. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing someone reach their personal or professional goals, especially when I get to celebrate that exciting “I got the job!” moment with them.🥳

A few facts about me:

📚 My favourite hobby is reading! So far this year, I’ve read 50 books (and yes, audiobooks absolutely count!).

🐶 Give me a quiet get-together with family and friends, plus some time with my dad’s dog Harley, and I’m happy.

☀️ I’m neither a morning person nor a night owl - I operate exclusively within a prime afternoon window.

📺 I love re-watching my favourite TV shows - my husband refuses to watch Friends with me because I know all the words and can’t help but sing along.

⛳ I enjoy golfing, but I’m just there for a good time, not a good score.

😄 I love a good laugh, especially with the amazing team I get to work with every day!

A new WAVE session begins September 23rd, and we'd love for you to join us!

WAVE is a successful pre-employment program where self-identified women can build meaningful connections, discover their strengths, increase confidence and self-awareness, and create a solid foundation for employment and personal goal achievement.

Topics include:

✅ Employment retention planning
✅ Self-care and mental health
✅ Healthy boundaries
✅ Assertiveness skills
