Job searching, especially for youth and newcomers, can be daunting and a bit scary. That's why we've compiled different tips and tricks to help you get started!
1. Start your "wish list": What job have you always dreamed of doing? What are your hobbies? What are you interested in?
2. Do your research on the job you want: What qualifications do you need? How much experience do you need?
3. Compare your skills and qualifications to the requirements of the job: What courses or certifications would you need? How would you get these?
4. Ask yourself what you need to be qualified for the job: What courses could you take? What organizations can help you get these?
5. Sign up for popular job searching websites: Sites like Indeed, Job Bank, and Kijiji have job postings from hundreds of companies!
