CIPP - Civic Institute of Professional Personnel We are a union representing municipal professionals at the City of Ottawa & Ottawa Community Housing. Established: August 4th, 1953.

The Civic Institute of Professional Personnel (CIPP) was established in 1953. CIPP is an Ottawa-based union that represents professional employees at the City of Ottawa and the Ottawa Community Housing Corporation in the negotiation and administration of their rights under their respective collective agreements. Under the provisions of the labour laws of Ontario, the Institute represents the inter

ests of professional public sector employees. Structure: An elected Board of Directors implements the policies and directives determined in accordance with the bylaws of the Institute and, through the Executive Committee, directs the staff of the Institute. The staff provides the services necessary to enable the Institute to function effectively in collective bargaining and to serve the membership. Website: www.cipp.on.ca
