About the Opportunity
LRO Staffing has partnered with a Scarborough based General Contractor to help them identify a Construction Operations Director to lead their established team. Our client is a reputable general contracting and services firm focused on industrial, commercial and institutional markets with typical annual project volumes of just under $25 million. As a successful, stable business they take pride in maintaining a culture of honesty, integrity and transparency.
This is a newly created role and as the Construction Operations Director you will be a key member of the senior management team and report directly to the President. In this position you will oversee all construction operations and projects to optimize project and business success with a significant emphasis on workforce/succession planning, hiring, employee coaching and mentorship. As an industry and project management expert, you will apply your knowledge to accelerate the growth and development of the Project Management team. You will oversee the selection of optimal construction partners, resources and ensure effective management of those relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities will also include generating new business, assisting in contract negotiation and administration and direction of all Project Managers, Superintendents and Estimators.
