Established distributor of office/school supplies in Orangeville is looking for an Accounting Assistant for their office.
Interested Candidates must possess the following criteria:
High school diploma with 2 year college in Accounting or 3 years’ experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Knowledge of standard accounts payable policies, procedures, and regulations.
Ability to understand and interpret vendor invoices, statements, and other requests for payment.
Ability to analyze and solve problems.
Basic data entry and/or word processing skills.
Ability to process computer data and to format and generate reports.
Knowledge of mathematics.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to utilize an automated accounting system and the internet.
Knowledge of general accounting principles.
Knowledge of purchase orders and related accounts payable documentation.
Payrate:$16-18 per hour depending on Experience
