Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Forklift Driver with computer knowledge to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in shipping and receiving, a valid forklift license for all types of forklifts, and proficiency in managing inventory and shipments using computer software. This role requires a strong focus on safety, organization, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate Forklifts: Safely operate various types of forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
• Inventory Management: Use computer software to manage inventory, track shipments, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Shipping and Receiving: Handle shipping and receiving tasks, including inspecting deliver-ies, verifying documentation, and ensuring accurate labelling.
• Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including WHMIS and Transpor-tation of Dangerous Goods standards.
• Organizational Skills: Maintain an organized and clean workspace, ensuring materials are stored properly and inventory is easy to access.
• Manual Labor: Ability to lift and move materials as required, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently.
Qualifications:
• Experience: 1+ years of experience in shipping and receiving.
• Licenses/Certifications: Valid forklift license for all types of forklifts, Transportation of Dangerous Goods Training Certification, WHMIS certification.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer software for inventory management and shipment tracking.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Physical Ability: Ability to lift and move materials as needed.
