Seven crane systems. One complete turnkey package.

For Dow Canada's MRO facility in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, WF Group of Companies worked alongside York Construction to supply a comprehensive crane package designed to support the facility’s operational needs.

The project included:
• One 100-tonne overhead crane
• Three 60-tonne overhead cranes
• Two 30-tonne overhead cranes
• One 7.5-tonne motorized jib crane
• Runway steel for all crane systems
• Complete installation of the cranes and runway steel

From crane supply and supporting steel to installation, WF brought each scope together under one team to help deliver an efficient, coordinated solution for the project.

This year, Brad Taylor celebrates an incredible milestone: 25 years with WF Group of Companies! 🎉

Brad’s career at WF is a great example of just how much can change over 25 years. He started out working in the yard, drilling base plates, and moving materials between shops. From there, he transitioned into detailing, later moved into structural design and checking, and eventually stepped into his current role in Project Controls.

Along the way, Brad has had a front-row seat to WF’s evolution—from creating parts by hand to working with CNC equipment, welding robots, and the technology that supports our operations today.

Through every stage of his career, one thing Brad has valued is the opportunity to keep learning: "I have found WF to be a wonderful place to learn and develop my skills. Everyone is always willing to share what they have learned."

We extend our sincere gratitude to Brad for 25 years of dedicated loyalty, innovation, and outstanding contributions to WF. Congratulations, Brad, on this extraordinary career milestone!
