ALFDC is excited to offer an 8-week Water Treatment Plant Operator-in-Training Program beginning August 4, 2026.

📍 ALFDC Training Centre – Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory
👥 Limited spots available (10 participants)

This hands-on program is designed for Indigenous individuals interested in careers in water treatment operations and gaining entry-level OIT certification.

Applicant Requirements:
✔ 18 years or older
✔ Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
✔ Valid driver’s license
✔ Interest in water treatment operations
✔ May be willing to travel or relocate for employment

ALFDC is pleased to offer Confined Space Entry Training on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at our training centre.

Confined Spaces training is a critical investment in workplace safety. In environments where access is limited and hazards are heightened—such as tanks, silos, vaults, and sewers—understanding the risks associated with confined spaces is essential.

Participants will learn:
✅ How to identify confined space hazards
✅ Risk assessment and hazard recognition
✅ Safe entry procedures and regulatory requirements
✅ Emergency preparedness and worker responsibilities
✅ Best practices for working safely in confined spaces
