Today was such a special day at the Moose Jaw & District Food Bank.
We are incredibly grateful to have Simpson Seeds Inc - Careers as one of our valued community partners. But to us, they are much more than just a partner. They continuously go above and beyond to give back to the community in meaningful and heartfelt ways.
Today, Jace from Simpson Seeds visited our local food bank to teach us more about lentils and the important role they play in healthy, nutritious meals. It was inspiring to learn more about a product that is proudly grown right here in Saskatchewan and helps nourish so many families.
To make the visit even more memorable, Jace baked homemade cookies for all of us using lentil flour, and he made them himself! They were absolutely delicious and such a creative way to show how versatile and nutritious lentils can be.
Moments like this remind us that true community support is not only about donations. It is about sharing knowledge, time, kindness, and heart. We are so thankful for the continued support, generosity, and care that Simpson Seeds shows to our food bank and to the entire community.
