One of our clients is looking – Line Supervisor
(Namur metro area)
Objective:
The line supervisor is responsible from start to finish of production line process. This includes planning, organizing and managing the effective utilization of people, materials, and manufacturing processes to meet production schedule, quality, inventory, line, speed, delivery objectives, cleanliness and safety.
Job Responsibilities
Supervises and directs hourly employees in production and packaging of products to meet established productivity targets and when missing these targets to develop and implement corrective action plans.
Train and monitor staff to maximize performance on production line.
Producing quality products that meet established quality goals.
Perform pre-production check to ensure equipment and line is ready for production
Complete paperwork and forms for production and quality.
Use only required levels inventory and develop and implement corrective action plans when required.
Perform continuous improvement activities aimed at improving efficiency, quality, costs and safety.
Identify potential problem areas in terms of equipment or process that could potentially delay delivery times in a timely manner so that they can be corrected to ensure deadlines are met.
Implements company strategies and process change at the operational level of the organization.
Ensure a safe and clean work environment by adhering to and enforcing quality and safety programs, policy and regulations.
Prepare for production for next day before leaving.
Assist other lines supervisors or unsupervised lines when required.
Qualifications:
1 years experiences in manufacturing
Previous supervisions and leadership experience is an asset.
Experience participating and leading continuous improvement activities is considered an asset.

Salary: From $16.00 per hour to start
