Resolve Recruit is hiring an Accounting Assistant for our client. Our client is an audio-visual equipment Supplier in Mississauga. We require a temporary to permanent contract Accounting Assistant.
Type: In-office
Hours: 8 hours per day - Monday to Friday – 8:30AM to 5PM
Pay: $24-25/HR (depending on experience)
Location: Mississauga, ON

Responsibilities
• Performing trips to the bank to make deposits when needed
• Creating invoices and preparing billing documents for Clients with different criteria (monthly progress draws, construction billings, etc.)
• Generating reports from QuickBooks
• Managing Accounts Payable and overseeing vendor payments
• Reconciling statements (credit card, etc.)
• Coordinate with Professional Service Manager on project invoicing
• Follow up on past due invoices and provide weekly reports to the Controller
• Accurately keep track of sales orders and provide weekly reports to the Controller
• Create monthly reports for Sales Reps and Ontario Education Collaborative Markets
• Assist in Year End closing
• Answer and re-direct phone calls and take adequate messages when required
• Support the Corporate Controller and back up for Purchaser
*Qualifications:*
* 2 years of relevant experience in accounting.
* College, High school Diploma or equivalent;
* Proficient in Quickbooks experience preferred.
* Proficient in creating excel sheets for the Controller
* Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
