Job Duties:
• Works with a team in receiving, processing, putting away, moving, order filling/picking, packaging, counting, and shipping of parts, materials, equipment, and supplies
• Utilize RF scanner to receive, sort, and put away orders
• Works from a variety of source documents to verify quantities, perform clerical duties, and resolve discrepancies as required
• Performs housekeeping functions and other warehouse support as required

Qualifications:
• 1-3 years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment desired
• High School or equivalent level of education preferred
• Ability to work infrequently changing temperatures

Our fast-growing, technologically driven recycling company is seeking Assembly workers with some experience working for a Recycling facility. This role is perfect for someone who has worked or doesn't mind working in a dusty environment. Someone who has good hand-to-eye coordination, experience using hand tools is nice to have.

Position Overview:

Responsibilities/Duties:
• Unload, tag, sort both palletized and bulk material shipments of electronic waste (eg. TVs, monitors, computers etc), disassemble/dismantle waste electronic products quickly, accurately, safely and securely
• Use air guns and hand tools to dismantle electronic equipment
• Identify components from disassembly and sort them into correct material bins
• Communicate all issues to the production supervisor and/or operations manager that could result in process delays or safety issues
• Work quickly and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and high standards of performance with quality production, security, and health & safety
• Ensure daily, weekly, monthly production and efficiency goals are accomplished
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
• Demonstrated aptitude for handling and knowledge of electronics
• Manual labour as required- Must be able to lift 50 lbs (23 kg) without assistance and use a pallet jack
• Manufacturing or warehouse experience is preferred but not required
• Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing/warehouse environment
• Demonstrate basic problem solving, effective communication skills, attention to detail, manual dexterity and hand to eye coordination
• Experience with manual and basic power tools, especially air guns
• Ability to wear PPE and adhere to all Health and Safety requirements
• Demonstrated a high level of personal accountability, reliability, sense of urgency and attention to detail
• WHMIS, Health and Safety, First Aid training is an asset
