*Our Government client is looking for an AML Reporting Specialist (STR, FINTRAC, Data Analysis)
Duration: 10 months contract with the possibility of extension
Location: North York, ON (Hybrid) – 2 to 3 days in office
Working Hours: 9 am to 5 pm (7.25 hours per day)
Pay Rate: $30/hr (T4 or Self Employed)*

*ROLE MANDATE*
The AML Specialist (Reporting) is accountable for the accurate and timely submission of Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) to FINTRAC as per established regulatory and reporting requirements in order to avoid possible regulatory sanctions or reputational damage. The role also acts as a quality control function in identifying and remediating any inconsistencies in Service Provider reporting of the information prior to submission to the Regulator.

*ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE* (but are not limited to):
• Provide accurate and timely reporting to FINTRAC in contributing to the AML Unit’s role in preventing and combating money laundering
• Perform a quality review of FINTRAC reports provided by Digital and AML Analysis teams and Service Providers to ensure the completeness, consistency and quality of information being reported prior to submission
• Review the content of FINTRAC Suspicious Transaction Reports provided by Digital and AML Analysis teams) and Service Providers to validate a reasonable ground for suspicion has been met and reports are sufficiently detailed to FINTRAC standards; escalate findings to AML Reporting Manager
• Identify and escalate any perceived live-time risk issues (high risk) to the AML Reporting Manager without delay to assess and confirm the risk and begin to implement controls to manage the risk
• Perform daily procedures to maintain AML systems with current data (exchange rates) and to confirm completion of all FINTRAC report filing procedures
• Respond to question received from internal and external partners (i.e., counterparts at Service Provider site) regarding questions specific to compliance with anti-money laundering regulations and obligations
• Assist in the design and preparation of reports for all levels of management and external stakeholders, as required
• Maintain awareness and assist with the development and documentation of required procedures and internal control manuals, as required.
• Support the maintenance of a centralized database of anti-money laundering policies, procedures and internal controls from all lines of business
• Assist IT with validation and user acceptance testing (UAT) of the AML reporting software during enhancement rollouts
• Actively participate as a member of project teams when representing the AML Unit

*KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE*
Experience
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience within a compliance environment
• AML experience preferred

We're for 📣Collections Agent (Call Center Exp., French an Asset)📣
Length: 6-months contract with a strong possibility of an extension
Location: GTA, ON – Hybrid (Only 1-2 times per month)
Hours of Operations: Monday to Friday 7 am to 11 pm, Saturdays 8 am to 6 pm, Sundays 1 pm to 8 pm (Must be flexible)
Pay Rate: $21.47/hr

📌Important Notes:
The candidates do not require post-secondary education. Call Centre experience is sufficient.
Roles are hybrid with an in office visit once a month, subject to changes.
Candidates MUST be available for the whole training period. Mandatory attendance. Must be flexible with the days and hours. French is an asset.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform In-bound/Outbound collections call to clients regarding passed due payments
• Respond to inquiries regarding delinquent accounts and negotiate payment arrangement
• Offer Hardship solutions to customers by completing risk assessments
• Perform other related service responsibilities as required
• Document all activity details in appropriate systems
• Manages all transactions related to customer and branch calls or refers to appropriate internal business groups
• Follows documented policies and procedures to execute transactions, activities and processes within assigned authorities

MUST-HAVE SKILLS:
• Strong communication and writing skills
• 6 months of previous call center minimum
• Basic understanding of Consumer Collections and relevant functional procedures
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Strong conversation communication skills and negotiating skills
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize workload and meet deadlines
