We're seeking a Registered Nurse for Long term care facility. The successful candidate will work closely with medical professionals and specialists to provide patients with quality patient care, monitor patient health and communicate any changes to the healthcare team. Additionally, our Registered Nurse will facilitate the education of patients and their families by communicating instructions and answering questions regarding treatments, medications, symptoms and potential side effects.

Responsibilities:

Be a member of the health care team that provides nursing care to patients who are admitted to the hospital, under observation or treatment in a hospital outpatient department, or in an emergency department.
Assess the medical needs and physical status of patients, and maintain medical records.
Prepare and administer medications and treatments to patients.
Apply knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology to nursing practice.
Collaborate with other members of multidisciplinary health care teams.
Maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors, and co-workers.
Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Salary: $60.00-$65.00 per hour

We are looking for an RPN with experience in administration, emotional support and pharmaceutical services to help oversee our team of nurses and other healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate has a background in patient advocacy, is highly involved in hospital departments, and has extensive knowledge of diverse medical treatment procedures. It's important that this individual has a passion for teaching and is willing to spend ample time training new nurses.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and assess patient's condition on a regular basis.
Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
Communicate patient information to physician and other healthcare providers.
Prevent disease transmission among patients and between patients and healthcare providers.
Assess patients' needs.
Keep accurate patient records.
Provide emotional support to patients.
Participate in continuing education in nursing.
