Lantzville Fire Rescue is an on call fire department staffed by members from our community.

As of noon, Thursday, September 3rd the District of Lantzville is lifting the campfire ban. All other fire prohibitions still remain. Please use caution when having a campfire, never leave a campfire burning unattended.

We will be holding the total fire ban over the long weekend and reassessing the ban next week.

Effective May 7, 2026 at 12pm Full Fire Ban

All fires are prohibited in the District of Lantzville until further notice. This includes backyard burning, campfires and the use of any fireworks.

If you see a fire report it immediately by calling 911.

Saturday April 25
Come by one of our locations for information on how to help FireSmart your home and property. Meet your Lantzville firefighters, see live demos of our wildfire fighting capabilities, and access helpful information on how to best protect your home and property from wildfire.

• 11:30am to 1:30pm at Harwood Dr./Aulds Rd.

• 2:00pm to 4:00pm at the Municipal Hall Parking Lot, 7192 Lantzville Rd.

at Huddlestone Park at 7:30pm for hot chocolate, hot dogs, and the tree light up.

This Sunday November 30 is the Annual Lantzville Fire Department and Lantzville Rotary Club Food Drive.

Volunteers will be out in the community picking up donations that are left at the end of the driveway from 9am until 12pm

Donations can also be dropped off at the Lantzville Fire Station during this time.

Update:

We are sorry to have to inform the community that the firework show scheduled for tomorrow evening has been cancelled due to the incoming weather.

Our fireworks technicians feel that the heavy rain and high winds are too dangerous to move forward with the display.

Our crews will be out on the streets tomorrow evening handing out candy and keeping a watchful eye for safety.

The District Of Lantzville and Lantzville Fire Rescue will be putting on a fireworks display on October 31 at 8PM. The show will take place on the ocean. The display will be best viewed from anywhere with a view of the Lantzville waterfront.
