ON VISIT VISA or with E.T.A..

Sabi ko sa kanya, "No problem, I'll give you 2 Line Cooks. Give me a week and you'll have them."

Kung kayo ay narito na sa Canada on Visit Visa o kaya naman ay may US Visa (mga nasa cruise ships and cargo ships) that automatically qualifies you to apply for E.T.A.(Electronic Travel Authorization), send you RESUME with your CREDENTIALS asap.

Before you send or make your resume, READ FIRST my post "Impressive Resume" dated Feb. 25 on our page CanDo Recruitment Philippines.

Ex. Subject: Resume (Complete with credentials) Kung wala kayong Photos at Work ay okay lang, wala na tayong magagawa dyan at narito na kayo sa Canada. Pag complete with credentials kayo, that means you are READY to Rumble. Kaya, Let's get ready to RUMBLE!

HOW to APPLY? I-submit ang mga sumusunod:
Importante ang Work History nyo with inclusive dates and location/ address at kung anong klaseng trabaho ang ginawa ninyo. Ilagay ang job duties. Ilagay din ang Educational Background at Trainings/ Seminars attended. Kung may TESDA trainings kayo, big advantage yan. Kinikilala ng Immigration Canada ang TESDA.
2. Employment Certificates - the most important of all documents/ credentials. Huwag kayong mag-apply pag wala nyan.
3. High School Diploma - a must
4. College Diploma kung meron
5. Transcript of Records kung meron
6. Training Certificates Ex. TESDA
7. Valid Passport
8. Visit Visa kung narito na sa Canada
9. Valid US Visa kung meron
10. Driver's License kung meron
11. Marriage Certificate kung applicable
12. Photos at Work - big advantage ito so better provide photos of you in action at the jobsite. May aplikante akong Pinoy Rebar Steelman na nasa Japan. Very impressed ang employer nang makita ang pictures nya in action kaya tanggap agad. You must convince the employer that you are the solution to their labour needs, that you are the person that they are looking for. If you have more than 4 or 5 years of experience, very good yan.

WORK PERMIT, grab it!πŸπŸ‡΅πŸ‡πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦- Kuya/ Tito Denick

IMPRESSIVE RESUME - As the Recruitment Manager of Global CanDo Hire Inc. a.k.a. CanDo Recruitment, I will share with you...
02/25/2024

IMPRESSIVE RESUME - As the Recruitment Manager of Global CanDo Hire Inc. a.k.a. CanDo Recruitment, I will share with you tips on how to make your resume really impressive, one that will catch the attention of Canadian employers.

Subject for discrimination daw yon. Iba naman ang experience ko. Mas gusto ng client/ employers namin na may profile picture ang applicants for easy identification, and NOT to discriminate. Mas madaling maidentify if there is a face to name. Pag local hiring, puedeng ipatawag agad ang aplikante for an in-person interview. Pero international hiring tayo. Pag isinubmit namin ang resume and credentials/ documents ng applicants sa employers, kasama doon ang passport page ninyo with photo. Pati driver's license with photo din. I'll even find you sincere and honest. Parang sinasabi nyo sa employer at sa recruiter na "Eto ako, ready for your interview. Hindi man kagandahan o kaguapuhan, pero charming naman with my winsome smile." Kaya for CanDo applicants, maglagay kayo ng "headshot" profile photo. Typically head and shoulders shot.

a. Dress professionally. Dress to impress. Kung ano ang isusuot mo pag humarap ka sa in-person interview (not virtual or Zoom) sa Makati, sa Ortigas, o sa Quezon City, iyon ang isuot mo. No collarless t-shirt. Better still, nakapolo o long-sleeved shirt for men. Sunday's best for women. Kung Chef, Cook, or Baker ka, better have a photo in a chef uniform - white.

b. Have that positive aura full of confidence by smiling. Huwag seryoso. Smile and the whole world smiles with you. Kaya wear that smile to project that winner in you. Sa resume pa lang, panalo ka na. Ang sabi ng isang professional photographer na nagsulat para sa LinkedIn, "A smile in your profile photo projects that confidence and competence that employers are looking for."

c. Better have a plain background. Mas professional ang picture nyo pag malinis ang background. Either DSLR camera or cellphone shots ay puede. Pero kung gusto nyong very attractive ang picture nyo, hire a professional photographer or a friend who knows about portrait photography. Ginagawa ko yan sa mga aplikanteng narito sa Kelowna and the Okanagan Valley. Libre lang yan sa akin. Dati kasi akong wedding and portrait photographer on the side dito sa Kelowna, BC, ang napakaganda naming city.

2. Your name in BIG BOLD LETTERS. Eye catcher yan. Parang oozing with confidence ka and proud of your name.

3. Current address and permanent address - Kung narito kayo sa Canada on Visit Visa, ilagay ang complete address nyo dito (House number, street, city, province). Ex. 2749 Bernard Ave., Kelowna, BC, Canada (On Visit Visa) Puede nyong lagyan ng note na (On Visit Visa). Kung nasa ibang bansa kayo like the Middle East, ilagay ang complete address nyo. After your current address abroad, ilagay naman ang complete Permanent Address sa Pilipinas. Ex. 869 J.P. Rizal St., Concepcion, Marikina City, Metro Manila, Philippines - Always put the name of country in all your addresses.

4. Cellphone number - ilagay ito whether narito kayo sa Canada o saan man sa mundo.

5. Email address - dapat isang email address lang.

6. Career Objective - dapat direct to the point ito. Huwag flowery o mabulaklak. Maraming ganyang objective. Ex. "To work in Canada as an Autobody Technician where I can use my 10 years of relevant experience". One sentence lang yan at direct to the point.

7. Work History or Work Experience - ito ang pinakamahalaga sa lahat ng entries sa resume nyo. Diyan tututok ang recruiter at employer. Gusto nilang malaman ang sumusunod:
a. Job position
b. Name of company
c. Address or location of company
d. Duration of work or period covered - Ilagay ang month and year Ex. May 2020 - Present Ex. August 2018 - April 2020
e. Show 6-10 job duties for your relevant jobs and 3-4 job duties to jobs not relevant to your desired job. Kung L**e Technician ang inaapplyan mo, put just 3-4 job duties to your job at Jollibee as a food counter attendant. You must use key words related to your job dahil iyan ang gustong makita ng employer.

Chronological Resume - show your jobs from the current and down to the oldest job.

Meron akong nakikitang resume na may employment gap na 2 years, 3 years, and even 5 to 8 years. Hahanapin yan ng Immigration Officer. They want honest immigrants. Kaya banggitin nyo kung ano ang ginawa nyo in those missing period.
Ex. Vegetable Farmer/ Vendor (Self-employed)

January 2020 - June 2021 (Covid 19 Pandemic)
- Cultivated an agricultural land 4 hectares in size

- Name of college or university Ex. Univ. of Santo Tomas
- Address of school Ex. Espana Blvd., Sampaloc, Manila, Philippines

Congrats and thumbs up kay Alrich Balacuit ng Cagayan de Oro City sa Mindanao! Nakuha nya ngayong araw, Pebrero 16, 2024...
02/17/2024

Bale 2-1/2 hours in total. What an experience it was, nerve-wracking! Matindi. You have no need to fear as long as you are honest. Don't hide anything. The truth is on your side." Sabi raw sa kanya, "We saw from your documents that you are qualified for the job. Congratulations." It must be such an emotional moment. Trained ang immigration officers na maging tough and inquisitive. Trabaho nila yon. Be sincere. Be polite. Be honest and pray to GOD for guidance and inspiration. Actually, naging routine na namin pag may magkocross border on the way to the Sumas Border which is more than a 3-hour drive from Kelowna, BC through the mountains, tumitigil kami sa Penask Summit ng 97-Connector Hi-way. Then we pray together, asking for divine help that immigration officers may be kind and considerate to the applicants. Laging ganyan pag nagkocross border, you prepare and rehearse your answers, you do your best at ipagpasaDiyos na lang ang resulta. Always be honest and truth will be on your side. Mahirap ngang sitwasyon yan. Lagi naming sinasabi sa clients namin na be honest and you'll have nothing to fear. In applying for Work Permit, you actually have 2 options: 1. Cross-border or flagpoling for the same day result 2. Apply online and wait for 2-4 months for the result. It's your choice.

Si Alrich nga pala ay deserving to be given a Work Permit dahil experienced Motorcycle Mechanic sya sa Cagayan De Oro City.

Kung outside of Canada kayo, puedeng-puede na mag-apply basta qualified.

HOW to APPLY? I-submit ang mga sumusunod:
1. Resume - lagyan ng magandang profile photo, yung nakangiti kayo para very positive at oozing with confidence ang dating.

Ayon kay Dan Gray na Principal Photographer sa Graynoise Photography na naglathala nito sa LinkedIn, "Research suggests smiling in headshots increases attractiveness and perceptions of competence - A study published 30 years ago in the European Journal of Social Psychology found that smiling increases attractiveness when compared to a non-smiling neutral expression. The study also found smiling subjects are attributed greater degrees of sincerity, sociability, and competence."

Importante ang Work History nyo with inclusive dates and location/ address at kung anong klaseng trabaho ang ginawa ninyo. Ilagay ang job duties. Ilagay din ang Educational Background at Trainings/ Seminars attended. Kung may TESDA trainings kayo, big advantage yan. Kinikilala ng Immigration Canada ang TESDA. Pag nakita kong qualified kayo, siguradong ipaparevise ko ang inyong resume using our format in MS Word file. So send your best resume for now.
2. Employment Certificates - the most important of all documents/ credentials.
3. High School Diploma - a must
4. College Diploma kung meron
5. Transcript of Records kung meron
6. Training Certificates Ex. TESDA

8. Visit Visa kung narito na sa Canada
9. US Visa kung meron
Pagalingan ng pag-a-apply. Pagandahan ng credentials.

The best decision namin ang magCanada.
It's peaceful here. Walang security guards ang mga banks and malls. Balanse ang buhay dito. Work, work, work during the week for 5 days at may 2 days off pag weekend. You have plenty of time to enjoy your family. Nature is at its best here lalo na dito sa British Columbia. I like the weather here of 4 seasons. Canada is our home now and no regrets at all. It's worth the investment 'ika nga. It was a wise decision to immigrate here almost 12 years ago.
It's now your turn to fulfill your Canadian Dream! Grab it mga Kabayan ko!πŸπŸπŸ‡΅πŸ‡πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦
