📢 Pauls in the Mall Returns This Thursday!

Connecting with and hearing directly from residents of Ward 7 is one of the most important parts of my role as your Councillor.

Join me this Thursday from 1:00–3:00 PM for the final installment of Pauls in the Mall at Lime Ridge Mall. I'll be set up near Telus (Food Court) at the bottom of the escalator and available to discuss the Ward 7 issues, ideas, and concerns that matter most to you.

Whether you have questions about City services, local projects, traffic, parks, community safety, or any other Ward 7 matter, I encourage you to stop by and say hello.

I’m still feeling inspired by yesterday’s incredible 2nd Annual Hamilton Leadership Prayer Breakfast.

545 wonderful people joined in — even more than last year - filling the room with faith, hope, gratitude, and a shared commitment to serving our community with faithful hearts.

A sincere thank you to the organizers, volunteers, table hosts, sponsors, fellow community leaders, and presenters — including the outstanding Kevin Rempel and Pastor Ty Sharron — whose collective leadership and messages made the morning so meaningful.

Thank you as well to Carmen's Banquet Centre for the memorable breakfast and warm hospitality shown, as always, by your dedicated and gracious staff!

Most importantly, thank you to every person who attended. Your faith, encouragement, and love for our community created an atmosphere that was truly uplifting and left us all feeling deeply blessed.

Mark your calendars now! We look forward to welcoming you back — or welcoming you for the very first time — to the 3rd Annual Hamilton Leadership Prayer Breakfast on Thursday, June 3, 2027, once again at Carmen’s.

What a beautiful evening for the 5K/10K event—and congratulations to all the young athletes who took on the 1K race! The community spirit was incredible on a perfect early-summer evening in Ancaster. It’s Crossing Guard Week until June 5th — and I want to say a huge thank you to the Ward 7 crossing guards who help keep our kids and families safe every day. 🚸

Whether it’s rain, snow, or bright sunshine, you’re there with a steady presence and a clear message: SAFETY FIRST.

If you see a crossing guard in Ward 7 or anywhere in Hamilton this week, please take a moment to safely wave and/or say thank you.

And a reminder to drivers: slowdown in school zones, watch for pedestrians, and always stop when the crossing guard's paddle is up.
