🍳 WE’RE HIRING: COOK’S HELPER 🏕️
Do you enjoy cooking, keeping things organized, and working as part of a team? We’re looking for a Cook’s Helper to join our camp kitchen team!
The Cook’s Helper assists the Camp Cook with all aspects of running the camp kitchen, including:
🥕 Helping with ingredient preparation
🧼 Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen
📦 Stocking kitchen supplies and ingredients
🍽️ Supporting meal preparation and service
⏰ Helping ensure kitchen duties are completed efficiently and on time
🧤 Following all food health and safety regulations
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, can follow directions, and works well as part of a team.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• General cooking skills and experience
• Experience cooking in backcountry or cultural camp settings
• Good organizational skills
• Food Safe Handling Certification
• Minimum First Aid certification required; Wilderness First Aid preferred
• Preference may be given to members of the Grande Cache Indigenous community
