📍 Fort St. John Area 📅 Temporary Assignment: August 31 - September 15, 2026

We're looking for an experienced Camp Chef/Cook to join our team for a short-term camp assignment near Fort St. John, BC.

This is a great opportunity for a cook who enjoys working independently and takes pride in preparing quality meals in a smaller camp environment.

👨‍🍳 Camp Details ✅ Approximately 15-20 camp personnel ✅ Prepare exceptional meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, ensuring the highest culinary standards. ✅ Well-maintained remote camp ✅ Transportation provided from Fort St. John to camp.

What We're Looking For: ✔ Minimum 3 years of cooking experience ✔ Minimum 3 years of camp cooking experience ✔ Food Safe Certification ✔ WHMIS Certification ✔ Ability to work independently ✔ Strong organizational and communication skills ✔ Passion for cooking, baking, and hospitality

Position Details: 📅 August 31 - September 15, 2026 📍 Remote camp near Fort St. John, BC ⏰ 12-hour shifts 💰 Competitive hourly wage based on experience 💵 Overtime pay where applicable

Local candidates are preferred, but we welcome applications from outside the region. Applicants must provide their own transportation to Fort St. John.

🍕 Building Community Through Partnership at North Peace Seniors Housing Society

Saturday, our team had the pleasure of delivering pizza lunches to the residents at NPSHS switching it up from the normal menu, a simple gesture that brought a lot of joy and connection.🌟 We’re grateful to Soul Sweet Café & 250 Pizza for partnering with us to make this special lunch possible.

These activity days play an important role in supporting quality of life for the seniors in our community. It’s always meaningful to see the positive impact these moments have on both residents and staff.
