Introducing Ogimaakamig

Together, our four Agency One First Nations and the organizations that care for our shared Agency One lands are honoured to share Ogimaakamig.

Gifted through ceremony by Elder Tommy Councillor of Naicatchewenin First Nation on October 6, 2026, Ogimaakamig is the gifted name for all Agency One lands and will be carried alongside the Agency One name.

The name carries important connections to our four Nations, our ancestors, the lands and the responsibilities carried forward for future generations.

We invite our members and communities to read the attached announcement and learn more about what has been shared with us.

Boozhoo! Point Park is opening for the 2026 season on May 1st!

Agency One remains focused on welcoming visitors and caring for our lands. The four Agency One First Nations are proud to steward Point Park as a shared space for all to enjoy!

This season will continue operating as usual while we work behind the scenes on planning and future improvements.
Important reminders:🏕️ Camping is first come, first served
📍 Permits available onsite & payment collected
💲 Rates posted at the park
🐕 Please keep dogs on leash and clean up after them.
🌿 Please respect culturally significant areas, including Seven Oaks

Seven Oaks is a place of cultural and spiritual importance. We ask visitors to be mindful and not bring your vehicles on the grass.
