This position is responsible to assist students with disabilities in the transition from High School toward employment and or Post Secondary Study. As well, as to enhance the choice and aspirations of students with Disabilities as they move through the educational system into the world of work or further education.

A large part of the position will be to collaborate with key stakeholders within the Southeast region, both at the community level and within departmental agencies, and engage stakeholders to assist in the development and implementation of such a transition. The objective of this project will be to establish relationships to enable the creation of a school-to-work opportunity for students with disabilities. This project will offer opportunities for students to prepare for their first jobs and increase students' opportunities for further education.

The incumbent must be able to work flexible hours with a minimum of supervision. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate organizational and time management skills. A University degree in education, social sciences, social work, or equivalent study/work history. Must have a valid driver's license. Must clear a criminal record check. Successful applicants will be contacted for scheduled interviews.
