I actually stumbled upon Laurie’s website while lo

oking for some business solutions. I decided to give him a call to see how the program worked. Laurie explained the mechanics of the program and directed me to some other materials, which I extensively reviewed. We had some concerns about the price of the program but knew that what we were doing was not working…so we took the plunge. We have been coached for about 7 months and have had huge improvements. Before the coaching, we had very few systems in place, no policies, and not much of a culture. Our finances were not being tracked at all; really, nothing was being tracked from a profitability standpoint. We were taught quickly how to build a strong foundation for our business in order for us to grow. We now know how to create a flow in our business so that there is a lot less chaos and a lot more structure. For me, it was all about getting the business to be more profitable with a lot less of my time. Through working with our coach, we have done that, I find myself having more time to pursue other interests, and I’m enjoying an 80% increase in our NET profit. Thanks,
Wade Graham

This is a simple but powerful awareness practice.

You might phrase it like this:

Every time you become aware that you are aware, pause.

Take a slow, deep breath.

Say to yourself:

Relax.

Then notice what happens.

Where in your body do you feel the relaxation first?

Is it your shoulders?

Your jaw?

Your chest?

Your stomach?

Simply observe.

Don't try to make anything happen.

Just pay attention.

Then continue with your day.

Repeat this every time you notice yourself becoming present.

Over time, you may begin to notice that awareness itself creates relaxation. You may become more conscious of tension you didn't realize you were carrying. You may find yourself responding more intentionally instead of reacting automatically.

The goal is not to achieve a particular state.

The goal is to become aware.

Awareness first.

Relaxation follows.

And from that place, clearer thinking, better decisions, and greater presence become possible.

For business owners and leaders, this practice can become a powerful reset throughout the day. A few seconds of awareness can interrupt stress, reduce reactivity, and help you lead from intention rather than habit.

Awareness → Relaxation → Presence → Better Choices.

Leadership is not about controlling every detail.

It’s about:

Creating vision
Developing people
Building systems
Empowering leaders
Creating momentum

The owner must evolve for the business to evolve.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝗻𝗷𝗼𝘆 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲?

Many owners spend years sacrificing:

health
relationships
peace
presence

for a future they never fully experience.

Create success worth living.

SEPTEMBER WILL NOT BE DIFFERENT UNLESS YOU LEAD DIFFERENTLY.

Another month is ending.

Before you rush into September, ask:

What worked?

What did not work?

What must we continue doing?

What must we start doing?

What must we stop doing?

Then choose the one issue that would create the greatest positive impact over the next 30 days.

Do not carry every unfinished problem into another month.

Create clarity. Assign ownership. Set the measure. Schedule the follow-up.

Better months are not created by hope.

They are created by better decisions and consistent accountability.

𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗖𝗔𝗡 𝗖𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗘 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗘 𝗙𝗥𝗢𝗠 𝗔 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗠.

Not every important decision must be driven by pain, panic or exhaustion.

You can pause.

Breathe.

Look honestly at what is happening.

Decide what better looks like.

Then take the next clear step.

Calm does not mean comfortable. It means you are no longer allowing fear and frustration to choose the direction.

The business needs your best thinking—not simply your fastest reaction.

Creation in calm produces better leadership, healthier decisions and more sustainable growth.

What one calm, clear decision would improve your business this week?

𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗪𝗢𝗨𝗟𝗗 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗣 𝗗𝗢𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗜𝗙 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗧𝗥𝗨𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗗 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗠?

Maybe you would stop checking every quote.

Stop joining every customer call.

Stop rewriting other people’s work.

Stop answering messages at night.

Trust is not blind. It is built through clarity, competence and consistency.

If you do not trust the team, ask why:

Is the expected result clear?

Has the person been trained?

Is the process documented?

Is performance measured?

Have you allowed them to make decisions?

Sometimes the problem is the person. Often, the missing piece is the system around them.

What is one responsibility you could transfer with better clarity and support?

When every problem arrives with urgency, the owner often absorbs the stress for everyone.

You calm the customer.

Reassure the employee.

Resolve the conflict.

Carry the worry home.

Strong businesses do not eliminate pressure. They distribute responsibility.

Clear escalation rules, capable managers, documented processes and visible priorities help the team respond without transferring every emotion and decision to the owner.

You can lead with care without carrying everything personally.

That is not detachment.

It is healthier leadership.

𝗔 𝟵𝟬-𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗡 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗟𝗗 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗘 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗦 𝗢𝗡 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗬.

A strategy that never changes the calendar is only a wish.

Your 90-day plan should identify:

1. The three most important outcomes
2. The person accountable for each
3. The next measurable milestone
4. The actions happening this week
5. The date progress will be reviewed

Do fewer things better.

The goal is not to fill a planning document. It is to create focus, movement and accountability across the business.

Success in business does not happen by accident.

Clarity creates action. Action creates momentum. Momentum creates results.

If your plan keeps getting buried by daily work, message me “90 DAYS.”

𝗣𝗘𝗢𝗣𝗟𝗘 𝗡𝗘𝗘𝗗 𝗙𝗘𝗘𝗗𝗕𝗔𝗖𝗞 𝗕𝗘𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗨𝗔𝗟 𝗥𝗘𝗩𝗜𝗘𝗪.

If someone is underperforming, waiting months to address it is unfair to them, the team and the business.

Feedback works best when it is:

→ Timely
→ Specific
→ Based on an agreed standard
→ Focused on behaviour and results
→ Followed by a clear next step

Accountability should not feel like a surprise attack.

Build it into weekly conversations, scorecards and meeting rhythms. Recognize progress. Address gaps early. Coach people while change is still possible.

The purpose of accountability is not punishment.

It is improved performance.
