The Métis Education Foundation, in collaboration with The King’s University, proudly celebrated the establishment of the Métis Scholar Award, made possible through a $500,000 endowment dedicated to supporting Métis students in their post-secondary journeys.

During the celebration, we had the honour of recognizing Kendall McNabb, a second-year Bachelor of Commerce student, as the inaugural recipient of the award!

This partnership represents more than financial support. It is a lasting investment in the next generation of Métis leaders and the future of our communities.

Congratulations to Kendall on this well-deserved recognition! We look forward to seeing the impact this partnership will have on Métis students for generations to come.
