Great leadership isn't always found in a boardroom. Sometimes, it's sitting around the lunch table.

During a recent visit to Westlock County, I had the opportunity to see something that stood out to me. The CAO was sitting with employees, wearing a hockey jersey, sharing stories and laughter.
It was a simple moment, but it left an impression.

And it's one of the reasons I'm pleased to be recruiting for Westlock County's Human Resources Manager position.

This is an opportunity for an experienced HR professional who wants to lead the HR function, work directly with the CAO, and contribute to decisions that shape the organization.
The role offers a broad range of responsibilities, including employee and labour relations, workforce planning, recruitment, and HR policy development.
