Description
This position is a part of the Non-Academic Staff Association (NASA).
This position has a term length of 1 year plus 1 day and offers a comprehensive benefits package.
Duties
Works under supervision to assemble a legacy suite of TREC's data, metadata and meta-narratives
Identifies and compiles existing TREC policy, procedures and agreements connected to data holdings
Assists in file/folder renaming and reorganization, including migration of resources between servers and platforms
Investigates, reviews and recommends research data management (RDM) resources for use by TREC
Helps prepare reports, operating procedures, publications, posters, presentations and technical briefings
Arrange meetings, agendas, takes minutes
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher, ideally in the health, social or data sciences
Demonstrated familiarity with research data management and/or library/information science organizational principles
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Extremely detail-oriented and systematic in approach to work
Superior written and oral communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and bibliographic reference software
Proactive, creative and able to work both independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
Masters degree preferred
Experience in health research, especially that involving long-term care homes, is considered an asset
