Program Manager
Reports to: Program Manager Director
Role Overview
The Program Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing complex aviation programs from initiation through completion. This role requires proactive monitoring of progress, risk management, and collaboration with internal teams, stakeholders, vendors, and customers. Work hours are primarily Monday–Friday, with flexibility based on program needs.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and manage interconnected programs and projects
Define program strategies, objectives, and success metrics
Coordinate cross-functional and inter-project activities
Lead and evaluate project managers and program staff
Develop and manage schedules, budgets, and resources
Apply change, risk, and resource management practices
Resolve complex, large-scale program issues
Provide detailed status reports to leadership and executive teams
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal policies
Participate in customer review meetings
Required Qualifications
PMP, SAFe, or similar project/program management certification
Bachelor’s degree in Management or a related field (Master’s an asset)
Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a similar role within the aerospace industry
Strong knowledge of program and project management methodologies
Experience managing complex programs and budgets
Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills
Proficiency with project management tools and software
