ALFDC is pleased to offer Joint Health and Safety Certification (Part 1) training from July 13–15, 2026, at the ALFDC Training Centre, located at 274 Hwy 49, Deseronto, ON.

If your organization employs 20 or more workers, establishing a Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) is a legal requirement under Ontario's Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA). This comprehensive three-day course provides participants with the knowledge and skills needed to contribute effectively to workplace health and safety.

Through real-world discussions, practical activities, and relatable examples, participants will learn how to identify workplace hazards, communicate safety concerns effectively, and support a strong culture of safety within their organization.

Whether you're a committee member, supervisor, worker representative, or emerging leader, this training will help you move beyond compliance and contribute to safer, healthier workplaces.
